Chairman Liu Attended U.S. CEM Conference

May, 20, invited by U.S. Ambassador to China, and U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, Standing Committee member of the CPPCC, Executive Vice President of New Energy Chamber of commerce of China Federation of Industry, Board Chairman of Tongwei Group, Mr. Liu Hanyuan attended the business conference by U. S.    Clean Energy Mission in Beijing.

Headed by Gary Locke, the mission consists of 24 U.S. clean energy companies. The purpose of Mr. Locke’s visit to China this time was to promote Sino-U.S. new energy cooperation. G.E, Boeing, Dupont, and many other world-renowned enterprises attended the conference.

At the conference, Mr. Gary Locke and Mr. Liu Hanyuan had in-depth discussion about the future cooperation. Mr. Liu said, with the rapid growth of the world economy, energy issue and energy-triggered environment issue has become increasingly salient. National and regional energy security, as well as sustainable source and sustainable development of energy are of realistic significance to every country. Solar energy will play the leading role in the world energy as the most clean, environment-friendly, and economical sustainable energy in the near future. Base on this knowledge, as well as corporate business development and corporate social responsibility, Tongwei will make all-out efforts to participate in this newly-emerged industry and promote the industry’s growth.
